Punctuality

By Allen Lyle

This week, Gene Williams gives us some timely advice on being on time!

TRANSCRIPT:

Today, I’d like to talk to you about punctuality. I have a friend who enjoys writing humorous limericks and poems. He wrote this one for me to share:

Don't be that person who is always late.

Don't be known as the one who always procrastinates.

Constant tardiness makes you a sad sight,

Like a clock with no 12…. You just ain’t right!

Being punctual is a major positive trait because it shows respect for others. Arriving on time demonstrates reliability and maturity, and it builds trust and positive relationships. People know they can depend on you to fulfill commitments. Furthermore, being on time reflects self-discipline and organization, essential skills for success in anything you do. So, whether it’s your regular work shift, an appointment with a client, or even an event at church or school, show how you respect and value other people’s time with chronic punctuality.
