Today, feeling overwhelmed and lost? This week, Allen Lyle offers some encouraging words on finding your way out of the weeds.

TRANSCRIPT:

There’s a saying you may have heard before describing someone who is in the weeds. This could mean someone who is feeling a bit lost or frustrated. It can also refer to someone who is so overwhelmed and ultra focused on their problems. So much so, in fact, that they can’t see anything but the problem. The solution is simple. You have to get out of the weeds. But that’s much easier said than done. Many times, it requires the effort and assistance of someone else. A friend, a co-worker, a family member. Listen, if you find yourself down in the weeds, don’t ever be afraid to ask for help. With the help of someone who cares about your well-being, you’re able to rise above any problem, and your path – even in the midst of the weeds - becomes crystal clear.
